Healing-Hurts

It is as on the sand I write for you a poem But the sea comes in again to steal it Like a child I stand and wonder why this is That hope lives only to be washed away

does comfort satisfy

Are you clothed by the gift of Life
and yet the material has worn a bit thin

To leave a sensitivity within the heart
that is covered yet unsatisfied by comfort

WELL as with your life circumstances have worn the insulation of comfort around your heart a bit thin and so your heart becomes a little softer and more sensitive to the needs of others
As you are going through it (long suffering is as fire that burns out the dross of life) you are not consumed by your own greed for more than you need
And when life becomes more morally realistic (through a practiced set of values) comfort is not quite as satisfactory as it once was
I hope that gives a bit of an understanding For need is the balancing point on which morality rests
If I consume above my need I become greedy and greed is idolatry and as soon as the scales are to even
a "shade out of balance" an artificial set of values are taken on by the soul To complement a landslide
    of moral corruption
